Pension
If you are married, your spouse is your only beneficiary for the pension plan until after you separate employment or retire. For more information contact the Berkshire Hathaway Pension Service Center at 1-877-459-2403. The service center is open from 9 am to 6 pm ET, Monday through Friday (excluding major holidays.)
The 401(k) Plan
If you are married, your spouse MUST be your primary beneficiary for the 401(k) Plan, unless they waive that right on the form. Visit the Empower Retirement Participant Website to add or change a beneficiary.
