The Vacation Buy Program enables you to customize your vacation allowance to your specific needs by increasing your regular vacation benefits.
Here’s how the program works:
You may buy up to five additional vacation days as long as your regular vacation allowance is less than the maximum allowance at your location. You pay for your additional vacation days through equal payroll deductions throughout the year. A vacation day is defined as 8 hours.
Wage Employees
Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement may not be eligible for the Vacation Buy Program. If you are eligible, your personalized enrollment worksheet displays this option.
New Hires
New hires are not eligible for this program in the year they are hired unless they begin employment on January 1st.
